Principles of Parenting
The purpose of this course is twofold. First, it is to show how a set of principles can guide parents in making wiser decisions in raising children; principles which give parents a sound basis for their choices as they help their children become self-confident, self-reliant and happy. Second, it is to show how these principles develop from the more fundamental principle that a child's mind is his greatest value. A child needs to develop his mind so that he can think rationally and live successfully. This course gives parents the tools for helping their children to gain knowledge, to use this knowledge effectively and to appreciate the value of their own minds.
This course was originally given at a summer Objectivist conference.
